About : Pathway Caring for Children provides the following services to vulnerable children and families in Northeast Ohio:
Foster Care: Children who have been abused or neglected are placed in a licensed foster home to meet their basic needs and thrive with the support of a loving family.
Mental Health Counseling and Case Management: Services for children and families experiencing a wide range of challenges, including trauma.
School-Based Counseling and Case Management: We partner with teachers and parents to provide services to youth to address the emotional and behavioral issues students face every day.
Family Empowerment: Teaches and guides adoptive, foster, kinship, and any caregivers struggling to manage their children’s behavior to build trusting, healthy relationships.
Prevention for Youth: Early identification of children at risk for future mental health or substance abuse issues. We provide evidence-based best practices for individualized strategies, group education, and skill building to promote protective factors, social/emotional competence, and resilience.
Transitional Age Services for Teens and Young Adults: Groups to help teens develop goals in gaining necessary life skills for teens transitioning to life on their own. Pathway is a Bridges provider, helping young adults ages 18-21 who have aged out of the foster care system.
